One door slowly closes as Another swings open

for those that don't kno i hold down a steady part time job aside from this music thing. its a lame job but it keeps a lil change in my pockets in between the hustle of obtaining gigs. the "real" job has been cutting back hrs more and more. today i was let off 4 hrs ahead of schedule... i'm not complaining cuz my money is good due to my jew-like spending and i need to rehearse for my show sunday anyway.

as i've been contemplating my most likely termination i've gotten emails bout more performances in and outside my area. i've gotten offers of contribution to my goals by assisting in bookings, merch and such. never been too religious so i'll say i've been very fortunate to be around a great team of artists and marketing folk.

Been a long time... i shouldn't (of) left u

been about half a year since i touched this blog. alot has changed within that time. had a chick, lost a chick. back to recording for my first EP (finally). got myself a manager...errrrrr kinda... LONG STORY but she's doing a great job so far with my music. we'll talk more about her next post... hopefully that won't take me another 6 months lol. anyway... shows r coming in by the boatload. no real love from the blogs except for my show footage wit Wordspit (Wordspitwashere.blogspot.com) and my freestyle wit 'em; so i've been real lucky to get that. my indie label situation is... well lets say places ur bids on the kid lol... got a twitter page and have become a real addict. if any of y'all give 2 shits i'm at twitter.com/89theBrainchild

Ohhh i made it on the Amajanese Takeover (shouts to the LupEND blog) mixtape which got a significant buzz on the net. this friday the big homie Future Sound releases his Goodnight Show mixtape where i make an appearance. i'll hit y'all wit the link... WHEN I GET IT (greedy bastards lol)...
